Our big birds like to chew wood. We made a ladder that is a huge hit with macaws and other large birds that are rough on toys. We put a lot of thought into the design of this. A big part of that was looking at what didn’t work well with other ladders we saw. With ours, the Dragon Wood rungs are secured in place, so when your bird chews the soft wood separating the rungs, or the rungs, the ladder is still a ladder.
