This is a medium sized bird toy, except for those who own smaller hook bills with attitudes. Wooden beads and thin, easily chewable, stars. We have always used “food grade dyes”, the same kinds that we humans safely consume. This will keep your bird busy for a long while. Because this toy is accessible and thin, it get’s used, and chewing wood is something your bird needs and enjoys. Not that it matters, but the stars are about 3/8 inch thick, and 3 inches in size.
